"Pera sa Basura"
« on: January 09, 2006, 03:42:05 AM »
Dear Entrepreneur Staff,

I would like to suggest the topic "Pera sa Basura" for your future issue.  There is real money in recycling.  You can also include buying and selling of second hand items from clothes, books, furnitures, parts of old houses, retaso, etc.

Thank you.

yes, i also agree on that.. may pera sa basura. May mga yumaman na sa recycling ng basura. Like softdrink's can pwedeng gawing wheel chair and other furnitures.  Sana may short courses para sa recycling, im sure maraming matutulungan.  Isa yan sa gusto ko sanang i-focus ng coop na sinisimulan natin dito, i will suggest that to the founder of Bayanihan (Mr. Indulgence). It will create more jobs and the "magbabasura or bakal bote boys will be benefited also).

Yes definitely greenapple! Recyclable items from either junk shops or any sort of
bsnz line that will cater such items will really be one of the income generating machine of the proposed project. Hindi lang yan, there r a lot of things in my mind
na dapat mailabas at para mapagusapan nating mga interested sa project na yon.

I have one more good idea na pwedeng paglagyan natin ng pansin. Yon ay exporting dried seafood items sa Korea and Japan(sea cucumber, sea weeds and other kinds na medyo may shortage sila).

Thanks for mentioning or considering the Bayanihan project greenapple. :)

There is another recycling business featured this morning in Amy Perez's show.  He uses scrap 'yero', even those with rust.  He turns it into work of art like fish, trophy and other household decors.

The idea is really great. I'm based in Cebu and I'm doing selective recycling. I'm into buy and sell of old newspapers. But, I noticed that there are other kinds of papers out there like bond paper, news print, book and others that I have no buyer here in Cebu.  Maybe you could help me refer to big recycling plants in Manila. I have 20 to 25 tons of old newspapers every month and I know the other kinds of paper would surely consist double or triple the volume that I have in my old newspaper. Salamat

Puede rin na ikaw ang mag process ng mga yan, tutunawin mo to make "handmade papers".  Meron isang thread dito about recycling.  Ipinost ng isang forum member yong mga list ng pinagdadalan nya ng mga papers and other scraps for recycling.  Paki search na lang.

Baka sa November i-f-feature ang "Pera sa Basura" or topics regarding this thread.  Kasi nag PM sa akin yong isang taga Entrep Mag at hinihingan ako ng picture.  :)  Kaso sabi ko wala akong bagong picture.  ;D

Hi...would anyone know how to do the stuff featured in PDI last September 24.  I am greatly interested in learning it.  BTW, here is the link of the article.

Or sana ma-feature din 'to sa Entrep mag.

true ito, may pera sa basura.  fluorescent lamps are crushed and are processed to become hollowblocks, mga tetrapacks are converted into furnitures, ginugupit gupit din pinatitigas para maging parang wood. doy packs are converted into "bazura" bags which, they say, have been a craze abroad...  pwede ring gawing slippers, umbrellas, etc... old mags and newspapers can be converted into handicrafts, broken glass can be mosaic tiles...   :)

kaya nga if people would only learn to segregate, magkakapera talaga sila.
