sa mga nagkaroon na ng siomai house or similar business, kamusta po ang negosyo nyo? mabenta po ba sya? interesado kasi ako mag tayo ng siomai house without any franchise. is it still advisable?  or late na ang pagtayo ko ng siomai business ko?

gaano katagal ang shelf life ng siomai habang nag steam ka? paano mo macontrol para maiwasan ang left over? ayaw ko kasi mag recycle eh. ayaw ko rin kasi ng over cook.  :)

Also, paano naman ang mixture ng black gulaman? ano gamit nyo dito? yun mga in can ba na black gulaman? or yun sa palengke, or sariling gawa?

thanks!

i have no left overs or recycles, ayaw ko din yan.  i have 5 stalls kaya puwede kong dalhin dun sa kabila yung hindi nabenta sa kabila within that day. i have stall kase na til 11pm naka-open kaya naipapaubos pa yung mga left overs ng ibang stalls.

wait natin yung ibang sagot nila regarding your query..

If it sticks to the steamer, you can add a bit of oil so that they don't stick. If they stick to each other, you may have to change your dumpling wrapper or you are putting the siomai in the steamer before there is enough steam. Pag mabagal po kasi masyado silang maluto magiging madikit sila.

Freezer po before or after cooking?

sis, anong brand ng steamer po yon? and how much po? planning to engage into siomai bznz kasi. tnx a lot po!!

siomai is my new baby!

just started last Dec 22, 2008, when our office gifted me a steamer. ni- try ko lang and nagulat ako sa result nya. so  i bought 2 more steamers and nilagyan ko na lahat ng puwesto ko. 2 days of operation eh nabawi ko na yung pinambili ko ng steamers, awa ng Diyos.

i am not the one mixing the siomai, umaangkat ako per kilo sa supplier ko ng burger patties tapos ako na lang ang nagbabalot para makontrol ko yung laki ng siomai. pag nicompute ko per piece, lumalabas na 1 peso ang puhunan ko per piraso. binebenta ko ng 4 pesos isa. minus yung ibang expenses so meron akong 2 pesos na kita bawat isang siomai. ok na yun.

i have 5 stalls kaya kalat na ang siomai dito sa amin. madami na ngang gumaya ;D pero di nila alam na iba yung sauce ko, ako kase nagtitimpla. kaya lamang ako pagdating sa sauce...yung mga competitors ko as in purong toyo lang ang sauce nila tapos kalamansi, garlic and chili.

magandang business ang siomai, promise!
