yap, tama si ericktabalno...if you're planning to buy a printer with ciss, kuha ka na lang nung mura, esp if puro text lang ang ipiprint mo. mabilis mo lang mababawi ang investment mo. nabili ko 'tong epson c45 ko early last year pa, and till now, gumagana pa naman, nagrerefill na lang ako ng ink, kasi madalas puro text lang ang piniprint ko...mabagal nga lang magprint..toink!  ;D

@birchtree and ericktabalno- thank you mga sir...

More input please.........

try mo kaya canon printers tapos pa-cis mo. i personally prefer canon kasi. or try mo kayang i-message si photoaddict, ask mo na lang sa kanya kasi nasa photo editing din siya and nabasa ko sa isang thread na naka-ciss din siya.

@birchtree

hello! na aalala mo pa pala ako.

with regards sa cis. oo, gumagamit din ako ng cis. pero ito masasabi ko, if ang gamit mo ng cis is for pop materials, flyers, pang submit lang ng mga reports sa school. then go ahead. kuha ka ng cis. advantage kasi nito is mura sya. you can print a copy of A4 size as low as 15pesos. using good photo paper. pero if you want, you can go as low as 2pesos a4 size. although, sobrang manipis naman iyon.

well... meron din pala ako benta na cis. just in case kelangan mo. puwede kita bigyan ng discounts.

sana nakatulong.... good luck!

Kung may internet cafe ka or nasa document printing business ka, CIS is a must laki ng saving mo! Madali mo naman mababawi ung printer at CIS.  Kung document printing you can use c59 or c90 (or any 4 color printer) kung photo printing use R230 or R270.

bukod po sa dye and pigment, meron pong sublimation ink for mugs press at ung oil based for t-shirt. Meron na rin po bagong ink na pede sa t-shirt, tatoo, direct to pvc card and decals.

Meron na ring po na pigment that can last for 100 years and hindi diya nag-smudge even on ordinary paper.

i agree to mossimo. marami nang klase ngayon na ink and application using inkjet printer with cis. kung pang negosyo, marami talaga kayo magagawa using the inkjet printer. i remember a friend telling me that meron sya kilala sa india, who converted the inkjet printer into printing flowers. ayos talaga! he even showed me their picture. although, medyo mahal benta nya. meron na premium for his invention. meron din naman na nag convert ng inkjet printer. instead of paper lang kaya feed, up to 6mm materials kaya na isalang sa printer. except that kelangan yun surface nyo si only flat.

well, sa panahon ngayon, nothing is impossible. kelangan mo lang discartehan...

@ photoaddict - thanks a lot sir.

@ mossimo - thank you din sir.

I have acquired Epson R230 the other day at kabit kaagad ng CIS(ako lang nagkabit), working good naman sa photo  ;) at happy naman ako. Kaya ko kayang bawiin yung expenses ko sa price na 3pesos/wallet size, 6pesos/3R, 7pesos/4R??? We will see!! ???

sir, hindi naman kayo puwede mag palit palit ng ink using only one printer. masisira yun system and yun printer. dapat alamin nyo muna kung ano kelangan nyo. like if you want bright and vibrant photos, pero mabilis mag fade, then go for dye. but if you want water proof naman, then go for pigment. with regards dun sa 100 years hindi nag fade... i think canon ko narinig yun. pero honestly, i don't know kung ano exact yun. baka puwede nyo post kung ano yun. would really appreciate it. with regards sa pricing nyo naman sa printing, wag kayo papayag ng 3 peso sa wallet size. pero yun 6 peso for 3r is fair enough naman. the good thing is not on the small size, but rather bigger size like a4. kasi you can charge as low as 40 pesos sa a4 and as high as 70 pesos. syempre if you want additional income, go for phto studio services. kasi ang i.d. per set using 4R paper can be charge for as high as 120pesos. pero standard is only 60 pesos. depend sa location at sa market nyo naman po yun.

take note, that printing approximately 100 pcs of 4R prints will take around 3 hours using photo quality printing. pero kung lower quality, mabilis lang din naman yun. so, do consider your time and man power.

good luck na lang sa negosyo nyo! balitaan nyo na lang kami from time to time. para makapag exchange din tayo ng mga ideas and know how

@sirius

Tama po si sir photoaddict, Try nyo din po mag offer ng photo ID like 1 by 1 and 2 by 2 or passport size.  Kahit anong digital camera pwede na at puti at pulang kurtina ok na po un.  you can price them 40 to 60 pesos per set. Ako po bumili lang ako ng id cutter sa quiapo 820php each po yata ung 1by1 and 2by2 cutters.

You can also offer invitations. You can charge 100php for the 1st copy and 6 pesos for the succeding copies. 100 pesos for the layout, scan etc.

Siguro by the end of month darating na ung direct PVC ID printing using DYE ink! You can offer na rin PVC ID without lamination and cutter.

Sir baka may tips ka tungkol sa profiler that you mentioned in your earlier post. Pag hardware yan that will cost thousands, wag nalang :(, gagamitan ko nalang muna ng "PACHAM" ;D

Direct printing PVC ID- magandang balita to!

Nakaka-addict magprint pag naka CIS!! ;D

Mga sir,

Additional Question-
