at least 200K pataas for a 5 unit shop. Don't be deceived by what others will tell you, yes mura na ang mga pc unit ngayon pero you also have to factor in the cost of other necessary equipment and furniture's.

Here's a list of what you will need to get started:

Computer Units
LICENSED SOFTWARE (Operating System, Games, Office Software, Internet Cafe Management Software, Antivirus. Please remember OS license is 1 to 1 meaning 1 OS per computer)
Printer (converting to Bottomless is the way to go pero dapat magandang klase ang printer mo para matagal din buhay)
Scanner
Peripherals like Webcam, Speakers or headsets (unless they come bundled with the software)
Tables and Chairs (kung magpapagawa ka, I suggest invest in good materials and quality craftmanship)
LAN hub and cables (there is another term for this but I forgot kung ano)
Repair ng Pwesto (get a good electrician and make sure your electrical wiring is in very good condition at walang nakikishare  ;D)
Internet Connection ( me bayad din pakabit unless me promo kang ma avail)
Aircon/Electric Fan
Rent (If you are going to rent the space, standard is 2 months deposit/ 1 month advance, pero depende pa rin sa kontrata mo with the owner, make sure you have a rental agreement or lease of contract)
License and Registration (this will set you back at leat 5K pataas, depende sa area mo at declared capital)
Printing of OR's
Fire extinguisher (yes it is a requirement bago ka mabigyan ng permit)
Initial Supplies (bondpaper etc.)
Cleaning gears (walis, mop, dustpan, trashcan, trash bag) people rarely count this as expenses pero kapag pinagsamasama mo sila medyo mahal din aabutin.
Taurpalins and other marketing collaterals

I am not trying to discourage you, pero bago ka magbitaw ng pera, I suggest you sit down and compute all the expenses na kailangan mong bayaran. Di pwede yung I have 100K and I want this business, pero yung business pala needs 200K to start. Dapat me rough idea ka kung magkano talaga magagastos and how much ang kailangan mong kitain daily para ma recoup ang capital mo.

^ I agree sis, my bestfriend is an internet cafe owner and he also does yung cafe maintenance and set-up for other clients and yun nga super capital intensive sya.  Have at least 250k na capital before you start a net cafe. And also for the first few months be prepared to spend, puro palabas ang pera--syempre mageestablish ka ng client etc.  What I noticed, kasi better if your internet cafe is part lang ng biz, my bestfriend had the foresight to consider this and ayan mas malaki pa ang net nya sa computer repairs/pc maintenance (for other cafes and some small offices) at cafe set-ups kesa sa mismong internet cafe nya:D

* id lamination
* tarpaulin printing

you can always start with 5 units plus 1 server, then ipunin mo nalang ang kita mo to complete the maximum number of units na kakasya sa comp shop mo.

of course, do not just focus your efforts to computer rentals. marami kang pwedeng additional sources of income pag may computer shop ka. rentals of computers will just cover your operational expenses, income will come from your residual services. you just have to know what other services you can offer in your community that will not only give you profit but above anything else, services you can give to your community.

sana po makatulong.
