Your partner must have the same goal as you and in the ideal situation have business skills which compliment you own.
I have heard that the garment industry or rag trade is a cutthroat business with small margins. Are you thinking of manufacturing ,retail or both.
There are thousands involved with the garment industry in the Philippines, I think there is strong competition and you will need to do a lot of market research to find an are where you can establish your niche.

Well, it will be a lot more easier if you will have business partner. Two heads are better than one! But of course, you still need to look for the best partner, who is capable in helping you to improve the business.
