Released last June 28, Summit Media’s first iPad app, Yummy Filipino Recipes, has peaked at number two at the App Store’s Top Paid iPad Apps list and continues its strong showing as reflected in its continued ranking among the top 10 apps. An app that is geared towards foodies, Yummy Filipino Recipes brings together 101 mouthwatering Filipino food recipes crafted by both local chefs and restauranteurs.
Having recently just entered the App market, Summit Media, the country’s leading publisher, is experiencing highly encouraging signs that indicate the robust and healthy opportunities that exist in the Apple App Store as well as the wide acceptance of the iPad as a media consumption device.
Released two weeks ago, Summit Media’s Yummy Filipino Recipes app yesterday skyrocketed to the top of the App Store charts, peaking at number two under the ‘Top Paid iPad Apps’ category and maintaining its week-long position at the top 10 of the charts. With this, it joining App Store hits such as Temple Run, Where’s My Perry?, Plants vs. Zombies HD and Apple apps such as Keynote and Pages.
Thanks to its engaing layout and nifty interactive features coupled with the mouthwatering list of 101 recipes spanning five major food categories, customers have given the app a perfect score of five stars, with user Orlan saying “It’s worth the price! Lots of local recipes to choose from. Nice presentation and good layout.” Another buyer of the app, Izhiang also gave the app five stars and commented “Been waiting for this app!”
