While traditional forms of media are still the most preferred platforms in advertising a product. However, it becomes a tricky field when a brand wants to advertise a "value" instead of a product. Unlike an actual product, advertising a value is a lot more complex process
One way of communicating the value to your audience is by staging a photography contest. It's simple and more encompassing rather than forcing your own interpretation of the value down the throat of your audience.
Understanding the importance of honoring one’s commitment, PhilPlans, the leading pre-need company in the country, wants to concretize this Filipino value through a photo contest.
“Ang Aking Panata” photo contest aims to highlight photos that show your commitment to your family, friends, work, values, and relationships. The contest is open to all photographers and enthusiasts.
Contestants need only to e-mail a photo showing their response or interpretation of “Ang Aking Panata” and a short accompanying description to firstname.lastname@example.org. Photos will be uploaded in PhilPlans’ Facebook Fanpage where friends can vote for their favorite entry. Owners of the top ten most “liked” photo will receive cool prizes such as a SONY 32” LCD TV, Nintendo Wii, a Canon Camera and other cool products from Rudy Project. So hurry and submit your “Ang Aking Panata” photos now and start inviting your friends to like your entry! Visit www.philplans.com/angakingpanata.php to know more of the contest mechanics. Acceptance of entries will begin on October 28, 2011 and will end on November 29, 2011.
