Entrepreneur Philippines' Franchise Awards nomination extended

The search for outstanding Philippine franchise companies to give out 25 awards this year
The country's leading publication on entrepreneurship and small business announces Entrepreneur Philippines' Franchise Awards 2010. Entrepreneur Philippines is published by Summit Media, the leading magazine publisher in the Philippines.

This year, Summit Media extends the application deadline to February 10, 2010.

Now on its fifth year of giving recognition to companies offering the most viable franchise investments in the Philippines, the annual Entrepreneur Franchise Awards honors top companies in each of the following categories:
  • Best Homegrown Franchises
  • Best Foreign Franchises
  • Most Promising Franchises
  • Fastest Growing Franchises
  • Best in Franchising Support
Homegrown or local franchise companies in the Philippines may be eligible for evaluation as long as they have been in business for at least three years, and must be franchising for at least one year. They must have a minimum of three branches, at least one of which is company-owned, as of December 31, 2009.

On the other hand, foreign franchisers must be master franchisees that are offering sub-franchises in the Philippines. They must have been in operation for at least two years with a minimum of five territorial units as of December 31, 2009. Furthermore, the winning franchise companies are judged according to their business viability, system stability, potential for growth, and extent of support they give to franchisees.

The prestigious Franchise Awards is one of the most awaited events among Filipino entrepreneurs, franchisers and franchisees.

Your company may be considered for one or more categories. The list of awardees will be published in the July 2010 issue of Entrepreneur.

Last year's roster included:
To be considered for any of the awards, interested parties must fill out the official entry form (see details below), submit a copy of the Franchise Agreement, the franchise corporation?s most recent audited financial statements for the last three years, a list of the franchised and company-owned locations operating as of December 31, 2009.

All documents should be submitted to Entrepreneur (by mail, courier service, or e-mail) not later than February 10, 2010. Kindly send all the required documents to:
