Franchising
A day in the life of a model entrepreneur
Dec 15, 2011
Aside from the runway to the glossy pages of magazines, Peter Nordell is also spending time at SM Marikina to take care of his White Hat franchise. But like a lot of Filipinos who aspire to have their own businesses, Peter had no prior background in business.
Peter decided to start learning the ropes of business by getting a franchise of White Hat, a popular frozen yogurt brand. He sees the franchise as a way of actually learning how it is like to run a business, not just another source of income.
“I didn’t have background in running a food business, so I decided on a franchise, wherein everything is provided for and you get good support from the owners,” he says.
Just as well as his good looks and physique would sell the latest fashion items, it also did the same for his business. [Girls ogled at him during the photoshoot. -ed]
