Mang Inasal set its sights on U.S. and Middle East

Franchise wonder Mang Inasal is all set to expand its reach to the United States or the Middle East by next year.

A report by the Business Mirror, which was confirmed by Jollibee Foods Corporation in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, Mang Inasal is already “conducting research to determine suitable expansion areas abroad.” An initial three stores will be opened abroad by 2012.

Jollibee Foods Corporationa acquired 70 percent of Mang Inasal last year for a purchase price of P3 billion. For more details on the acquisition, click here.

Based on the latest count, Mang Inasal has 393 stores as of July 31, 2011, and plans to reach 500 stores by 2012.
