This September 13, Peter Pezaris, founder and CEO of the Philippines’ largest digital mall and one of the world’s most popular social networking site, Multiply will visit Manila to share his expertise at the 9th International CEO Conference of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP). His talk, entitled “THE MULTIPLIER EFFECT: Why Businesses are On-Board the Social Network Bandwagon” will discuss how entrepreneurs can maximize the digital platform to start successful businesses.

“People are now living two lives: on-line and off-line. With the rise of smart phones and laptop computers, more than ever, it’s essential for people to stay connected. With this trend, it is important for businesses to engage customers in both spaces,” said Pezaris. “Integration and engagement are key to a successful on-line business and when we were working on Multiply’s transformation with a fully-functioning e-commerce platform, we had the entrepreneurs in mind, to provide them with the right tools to start their businesses with little capital needed,” he added.

With the theme, “FAST, FLAT & FREE: Leading in the New, Convergent World,” the MAP conference will be a venue for business leaders to share their experiences and insights on how to face and triumph over the many challenges presented by the ever-changing market.

The conference will be held on September 13, 2011 at the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La.
