How to register with TESDA
Feb 09, 2012
Just like any educational institution in the country, a vocational school is under the jurisdiction of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
To register with this government body:
1. Submit an application letter with the TESDA Provincial Office where your location belongs at least six months before you offer the program.
2. A checklist of requirements will be given to ensure that you have completed all the requirements.
3. TESDA will evaluate the curriculum, inspect and verify the qualifications of the faculty, training supplies, and equipment within three months from the date of application.
4. The results of the evaluation and inspection, together with your application, will be forwarded to the TESDA regional office, which shall issue a Certification of TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) program registration in your favor if their findings prove that your school, faculty, and equipment are capable of teaching the course.
