Free DTI seminars for entrepreneurs on Sept. 20 and 27

Thinking of starting a business? Being an entrepreneur is not easy but the results can be great with the right combination of hardwork, tenacity and of course, education. Educating youself with the best business practices can help you avoid costly mistakes.
With the government focusing on creating more entrepreneurs to fuel the economy, seminars about starting your business are now available for free. The Department of Trade and Industry’s Bureau of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development (DTI BMSMED) is now conducting free seminars for startup entrepreneurs and those who aspire to become one.
On September 20, there will be an orientation on the import procedures and liberalization from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. On the same day, there will also be a seminar on web site development for start-ups thinking of turning to the internet for their next business project from 2:45 pm to 4:00 pm.
On the other hand on September 27, there will be a talk on business opportunities on meat processing from 1:30 - 4:00 pm. This is a great opportunities for foodies thinking of making their love of food a viable business venture.
There is no need to sign up. All interested entrepreneurs can proceed to the BMSMED Training Room at the 5th floor of the Trade and Industry Building, 361 Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City on September 20 and 27.
