Learn the global perspective on real estate

Mar 07, 2012

There is no denying that real estate investment is still popular. Learn the global perspective for this industry when the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Associations, Inc. (CREBA) hosts a unique course that will give real estate professionals unique hands-on experience on the critical aspects of global real estate business.

The course is called the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) course to be held from February 20 to 24, 2012, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the AIM Conference Center, Makati City. The CIPS course is licensed by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the world’s largest trade association considered the “voice for global real estate” representing over 1.3 million members in the United States as well as in 60 countries across the globe. CREBA is the exclusive NAR Cooperating Association in the Philippines.

The intensive 5-day CIPS curriculum covers detailed presentations on country-specific tax issues in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania. According to Charlie A. V. Gorayeb, CREBA national president, the CIPS is the only designation of its kind in the worldwide real estate community.

Julius G. Topacio, CREBA vice-president for global real estate alliances encourages International REALTOR® Members from the Philippines to register early and enjoy discounts that will be open only to the first 100 registrants to become First 100 Founding CIPS Members in the country.

Participants expect to learn about cultural communications, international business, customs, current events and market trends that impact the global real estate market.

The CIPS Network is made up of real estate professionals who focus on an international clientele through NAR’s alliances with 80 national and regional Cooperating Associations worldwide, including CREBA in the Philippines.

Interested parties may contact the CREBA-NAR Global Real Estate Council at (02) 373.2270 to 75 or email crebanar@yahoo.com
