plan ko sana mag import ng cosmetics galing US. magkano kaya ang import tax na kailangan ko bayaran kung 35000php ang worth ng make up n bibilhin ko. kung ireretail siya sa phils, magiging 75000php ang halaga niya.

btw i dont have a business so I will just sell it to my friends etc. so magkano kaya ang magiging import tax ko?

Under ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement, the modality of tariff reduction and elimination for all products covered under the Early Harvest Program:

1. With applied MFN tariff rate higher than 15%
2. With applied MFN tariff rate between 5% and 15%
3. With applied MFN tariff rate lower than 5%

ay ZERO (0%) TARIFF NA NGAYON

NOTE: Make sure lang na ang shipment natin ay meron kasama CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN (FORM E) dahil kung wala hindi mo rin ma i-apply yung ZERO (0%) tariff..

Kung mag pooling ba mga taga entrep sa pag-import, ok lang ba na iba-iba ang pangalan ng me ari ng commodity kung ilalagay sa isang container van para makatipid? Kailangan ba isa lang me ari nung gusto magshare sa container van?

Hello. Im interested in your suggestion to pool imported products. I plan to import car accessories from Taiwan. Would it be possible to collaborate?

So you really have to undergo some accreditation before getting into the importing business. Glad to know this stuffs.

Hi,

China now is a new member of ASEAN group, If you importing goods from china some of china products are zero rated import tariff.

Now Phil Customs is very strict on Importer's Accreditation before you can import goods into our country. Pls make sure you are accredited first before importing  to avoid any problems.

Thanks

Good Morning!

I am interested in buying merchandise online in the US and later resell it here in the Philippines. I already have a freight forwarder and they can deliver it here sa bahay. these merchandise are commercial in quantity.

I was told that I only need to pay for the ocean shipping fee and that includes everything (customs duties, clearance etc.) however they can only provide me with their receipt na US issued since I am paying them using my credit card and it will be charged in their US office, US dollars din ang charge. they cannot provide me with any documents indicating na paid na ang customs duties since ang clearing daw non ay isang buong container van, yung company nila ang bahala sa clearing.

wala po akong license to import from BOC and ang niregister ko lang sa DTI/mayor's permit is trading.

I guess my question is..

1) legal po ba yung pag import ko ng merchandise for reselling?

1.1) Do I need to have license para mag import even if ang nag import non on my behalf is yung freight forwarder?

2) can I use yung receipt ng supplier sa US for accounting purposes?
3) how about yung receipt ng freight forwarder, can i use it for accounting purposes?

Maraming salamat po

I know that this subject is almost a decade ago. but the topic is always there about importing goods from other countries.
