Yong sa Breadtalk pareho lang yan ng paggawa ng ordinary bread.  Ang kaibahan lang yong ingredients at yong mga additional na nilalagay nila kasi imported from Singapore.  So if you want a different type of bread, learn the basics then experiment on different ingredients pag marunong ka ng gumawa.

1. Try new product - wag yong pareho sa iba lahat. Have a taste test first and announce your new product. Come up with "our specialty" product.

2. Store display matters. Gawing maaliwalas ang harap ng tindahan, inviting ang dating.

3. Gawing masarap ang luto. Send your baker to a training like the ones from TLRC or TESDA.

4. Allocate two time in a day na mainit ang tinapay. Example: 5-7 am and 2-3 pm, serve hot bread. Dito sa amin, patok na patok ang mainit na tinapay.

5. Gimmick: Example: additional 2 pcs. for every 10 pcs. purchase. Or offer discounts 30 minutes before closing the store.

6. Gawin mong kapehan ang harap ng bakery. Set up some tables and chairs.

Nic, thanks for the tips and I believe it will be a big help for me in setting-up this small bakery business. Actually, I have already built a small concrete building about 32 sq. meters & now on finishing stage and I will consider the front display with some table and chairs.

Furthermore, anybody who can give me some more tips for a reliable supplier for a bakery required equipments, I would appreciate.

Regards/TheAUDITor ;D ;D

i remember coming across an article in food and beverage magazine. Meron program ang nestle, where they supply you with a side car, and thermos then you have to sell their products like milo, nescafe, etc. While they allocated several layers of acrylic boxes where you can put your breads. tapos paiikotin mo yun side car sa vicinity nyo. Meron ako nakita na naglalako here in blumentritt area in manila. ganon gamit nya. its just like having several kiosk roaming around your area.

Pareho yan sa julie's bakeshop. where they have several boy to roam around. Kasi sometimes, you can't just wait for the customers. you have to reach them.
