Ako nga ba?

Galing ng convincing power ni Mam Rhina, then after I say yes to her bigla ko naisip ko pa rin "Hindi naman ako entrepreneur ah?" But then as she say Entrepreneur Forumer, so more of a forumer ako.

Hmmmm..pano nga ba, how should I start, wala bang ghost writer diyan? or you may help me start by asking questions na lang, I'll be back, medyo busy lang sa work.

Tell us about yourself, what do you do, your future plans and how are you preparing for that.

Mabuhay kayo!

From Angeles City, Pampanga
Romel Tolentino po sa labas ng forum, 3__ yrs old, BS Mechanical Engineering graduate sa Holy Angel University and licensed na rin naman expired nga lang.

I’ll share little about my life muna.
I have always wanted to have a business of my own, basta gusto ko noon yung walang amo, free time. Came from a family of farmer on both sides, kaya naman grade school pa lang marunong na ako ng mga gawaing bukid at bahay. Have experienced selling pandesal and ice buko nung grade 3, nagdedeliver ng gatas ng kalabaw nung grade 4, and even selling fruits from our farm nung grade 5 na. Yung P4/day na kita nun sobrang saya ko na (don’t even bother to ask me what year was that! Alam nyo na yun). I’ve joined weekend sugarcane planting nung grade 6 and wow! P20 to P30 per day na nun. May crop harvesting pa nun na per day din ang bayad and fertilizing na per sack naman ang kita. Life goes on like that till I finished High School, bahay-school pag weekdays and sa bukid pag weekends.

Comes college, of course Bachelor of Science in Business Administration ang course ko.. Kaso boring pala yun, decided to stop na lang and do the farming but di ako pinayagan. Kaboom! Pumutok si Pinatubo (may idea na kayo of my age). Have all the reason to stop college, Hahaha!

1...2...3...4 years. 8 hectares lang yun and 8 kami magkakapatid. Buhay estudyante uli but this time sa Engineering na ako, irregular student. Applied as working student sa University, luck as others call it, I was granted, but lasted up to 2nd year only kasi bumagsak ako sa Differential Equations subject. Waaaaah! Determined as I am, Go! Go! Go! Laban! Have finished Mechanical Eng’g in 9 semesters instead of 10 since some of my minor subject in BA was credited.

Did not attend graduation ceremony, kakahiya na eh, at that age pinapag-aral pa ako then additional expense pa yung graduation na yun. Sabi ko if I pass the board exam sige lets celebrate. Prepared for the board exam, self review sa bahay, wake-up at 4 or 5 am to review then farming uli during the day and back to review at night. Goes to school library 3 to 4 times a month for some references and some reviews na rin. Guess how it feels if 2 days after the board exam makita mo pangalan mo sa newspaper? And Sarap ng feeling! Ayun na, may kaunti ng salo-salo with family and friends…

Next … ano ba kasunod after graduation.. this is the hardest part. Plans, decisions… decisions… job hunting…next post na yun.

Sorry if I make my post to short..Hahaha! Sarap palang magsulat
