(WATCH) How Two Brothers are Cashing in on the Storage Business

Safehouse Storage now has three branches and 800 storage units

As more Filipinos move in to condominium buildings in Metro Manila, space, or the lack of it, has become a prime issue. Many residents don’t have enough room to store their extra stuff. This is why brothers Macky and Carlo Coronel, founders of Safehouse Storage, expect their business to boom.

Safehouse Storage claims to be the largest self-storage company in the country with a total of 800 units in three branches. The Coronels say that at least 60 percent of their customers use their units for personal purposes.

“Condominium developers are slowly expanding [and] it has a strict correlation to the market we want to capture,” Carlo told Entrepreneur Philippines.
