In the next few days, a group of yoga instructors are going to open Urban Ashram Manila on Brixton Street in Kapitolyo, Pasig. Yes, it might sound familiar but you just can\\\'t put your finger on it, right?
Chances are you have seen the Urban Ashram Manila Facebook page, saw the name mentioned in your timeline on Twitter, or you had a glimpse of their leaflet. Like the very notion of yoga, even the way it is marketed goes beyond aesthetics.
"We did not engage in mainstream media as it is very expensive. We looked at other ways of promoting our brand in the most effective and cost-efficient manner," said Maricar Holopainen, one of the teacher-owners of the center.
