Tourism continues to be among the sunshine industries in the Philippines, and there\\\'s no better way to reap its benefits than by putting up a business that will surely take off with all the cash foreigners pour in while enjoying our beaches and sunshine.

“The tourism industry has constantly grown, but there is still a lot of room for improvement,” said Narzalina Lim, current president of Asia Pacific Projects, Inc. and former tourism secretary under the administration of President Corazon Aquino.

In 2010, visitor arrivals in the Philippines reached 3.52 million. Koreans led the pack as they comprised 21 percent of the total international arrivals, followed by Americans at 17 percent, and the Japanese at 10 percent.

Lim said that there are now currently seven kinds of tourism activities that have been the top choice of tourists in the country. With arrivals projected to grow to 5.71 million tourists in 2020, these tourism-related areas of investment you should consider in the next few years.
