Heart-Evangelista to Launch Her Own Pinoy-made Clutch Bag Collection

The clutch bags she designed are made of capiz, silver, mother of pearl, and gold

From doing commissioned paintings on designer bags, Heart Evangelista finally started designing her own line of clutch bags.

 

On November 12, the GMA-7 actress shared a teaser of her clutch bag collection on her Instagram account.

 

She wrote, "I'm beyond excited to launch this bag I designed! Stay tuned to know all the details of when and where I'll be selling them." 

 

 

In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Heart shared some of the details of the first clutch bag she designed.

 

She narrated, "Para siyang globe, mother of pearl and dipped in gold, too, so it's very, very nice."

 

The multi-faceted artist said she is still ironing out the details of her newest collection which will be under her own line called Love Marie.

 

The Kapuso star said this particular project has been in the pipeline for a while.

 

She told PEP.ph, "It's a clutch bag line and I will be releasing it, hopefully, soon.

"I've been working on it for two years na rin so matagal na rin.

 

"Pareho kami [ni Albert Kurniawan] actually na maraming ginagawa and, hopefully, ma-launch na rin siya soon."

 

Albert Kurniawan is Heart Evangelista's makeup artist.

 

The two launched a an eye makeup collaboration on Wednesday night, November 28, at the Makati Shangri-La in time for Albert's 10th anniversary in the beauty industry.

 

Back to Heart's clutch bag, the former My Korean Jagiya star continued, "I wanted something that's very unique, art deco...but very fitting with the times.

 

"And you can stand out and wear it, it will match everything."

 

Heart also noted that her clutch bags are proudly Filipino made.

 

"We have [bags made of] capiz, silver, mother of pearl, and gold. All made here."
