Beverage giant, San Miguel Brewery Inc, has silently rolled out its new product to select outlets in the Greater Manila Area at the start of 2011.
The new product, dubbed as an alcoholic malt beverage is aimed towards the young professional female segment of the market.
Coming in two flavors – apple and lemon – the new product is banking on its uniqueness, even using the tag line “It’s not your usual beer.” [Read how to put up your own bar here]
While no further details have been released by San Miguel Brewery, Inc the new product is expected to create its own niche in the market and further establish the company’s position as the leading beer brewery in the country.
Meanwhile, latest results showed that domestic beer volume consumed in the first nine months of the previous year reached 131.9 million cases or three percent more than the same period in 2009 figures of the company. Its mother company, highly diversified conglomerate San Miguel Corporation posted consolidated sales revenue amounting to P161.8 billion, or 28 percent higher than last year.
