There are a number of reasons why franchising has become a hit in the Philippines - a population of nearly 100 million, the rise in spending power of Filipinos, boosted by remittances sent by their relatives abroad and even the booming business process outsourcing industry. In line with these developments, the Philippine Franchise Association, the country\\\'s pioneer franchise organization, will be holding the Franchise 2010: The 18th Philippine International Franchise Conference and Expo (PIFCE) on July 14 to 18 at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City.

Franchise 2010 is also bannered under the theme "Getting Ready for the World" in preparation for Manila\\\'s hosting of the Franchise Asia 2011, which will feature the twin meetings of the World Franchise Council (WFC) and the Asia-Pacific Franchise Confederation (AFPC), according to articles posted at www.franchise2010.com.
