Franchise 2010: Events, expo and highlights

Local and foreign franchise brands in the Philippines are promoting the country as  the "Franchising Gateway of Asia". [See five things to consider in choosing a franchise brand here]

There are a number of reasons why franchising has become a hit in the Philippines - a population of nearly 100 million, the rise in spending power of Filipinos, boosted by remittances sent by their relatives abroad and even the booming business process outsourcing industry. In line with these developments, the Philippine Franchise Association, the country\\\'s pioneer franchise organization, will be holding the Franchise 2010: The 18th Philippine International Franchise Conference and Expo (PIFCE) on July 14  to 18 at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City.

Franchise 2010 is also bannered under the theme "Getting Ready for the World" in preparation for Manila\\\'s hosting of the Franchise Asia 2011, which will feature the twin meetings of the World Franchise Council (WFC) and the Asia-Pacific Franchise Confederation (AFPC), according to articles posted at www.franchise2010.com.

The expo will showcase colorful exhibits of local and international franchises, empowering franchise seminars, exciting business presentations, and vigorous industry networking and marketing activities. [See advertising and marketing tips from Kraft here]

The exhibit area will be divided into several sections that will feature Incubation and Emerging Concepts Area, the Young Entrepreneurs and Women Entrepreneurs Sections, the International Pavilion, the Franchise Pavilion, as well as the support services needed for a franchise to succeed.
