BPI Ka-Negosyo LoanFranchising is the option most Filipinos look at when they think of going into business. It\\\'s tested, branded and it\\\'s not exactly starting from scratch.

But franchising doesn\\\'t come cheap. Depending on the brand, franchising can easily cost between P500,000 for food carts and ink refilling stations to P10 million for the top fast food chains. The cost of franchising usually goes to the franchise fees, startup products, franchise support, branding, and logistics that will be needed to start the business.

Considered as a top franchising country in Southeast Asia, the Philippines is seen as the franchise hub of the region. Franchising is even considered as the top business trend in 2010 and the most promising in 2011.

"We developed the franchise loan with the franchise business in mind. BPI Family Savings Bank introduced the BPI Family Ka-Negosyo Franchising Loan--the first of its kind to make it easy to fund a franchise business. With our strong network of tie-ups with the Philippine Franchise Association, Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc., and  franchise opportunities, clients of the bank can be assured of the best deals in franchising," Cedoy Roces, VP and Head of Commercial Loans Division of BPI Family Savings Bank, said.
To address the need for easy on the pocket amortization, the franchising loan is offered on a "lite mode" basis. "It means that entrepreneurs will simply need to pay for interest during the first six months of the loan. So the bank makes it easy for start-ups to start operations. Principal payments begin on the 7th month onwards," Cedoy added.
Loan amounts start at P500,000 that will help entrepreneurs build their capital and in the costs that may be incurred during the implementation of the project.
