Drugstore chain and franchise brand, Generika, is eyeing a total of 17 locations around the country as expansion sites.

The franchise brand, which has about 210 store locations nationwide, is looking at opening more branches in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Ilocos Sur, and Ilocos Norte for their Luzon expansion.

The company is also targeting the cities of Lahug and Lapu-Lapu in Cebu Island as well as the municipalities of Pardo, Consolacion, and Punta Prinsesa.

For Mindanao, the company plans to expand in the cities of Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Pagadian, and Iligan.

For an overall initial investment of around P1.2-million, which already includes the P150,000 franchise fee, budding entrepreneurs can have their own business minus the trial and error of most start-ups.

One of the things that have made Generika a household name is its commercials which show that the company’s outlets are all air-conditioned in order to prevent heat and humidity from degrading a drug\\\'s efficacy.

The brand also boasts of its wide range of generic medicines now available in their outlets, which have also been equipped with a licensed pharmacist who can provide patient counseling to customers.

To explore the Generika franchise business, interested entrepreneurs may contact the brand’s development managers Mike Maquiran at 0922.8585.112 and Edward Arban at 0922.8984.982. Or you may also visit the company website at
