Water refilling company, Aquabest, has reached 700 stores nationwide as of the end of July 2011.

“Aquabest’s strong growth validates our decision to invest heavily in building our brand, thanks to these efforts Aquabest is now the brand of choice among households,” GQWEST chief executive officer Carson Tan said. GQWEST is the mother company of Aquabest.

A strong factor in the company’s growth is its participation in the 10th Filipino Franchise Show organized by the Association of Filipino Franchisers Incorporated. The brand managed to generate a substantial number of inquiries that will contribute significantly towards year end growth. Apart from inquiries, the Aquabest booth also generated significant public awareness about the brand.

The company is also banking that the launch of their new concept, the Aquabest 3 in 1 Combostore, will help boost the growth of the company for the remaining period of the year.

“We see the combostore as comprising a majority of new franchisees in the coming years, since we introduced it in April there are already five combostores this confirms our belief that the industry is moving away from price driven to value driven” Tan said.

The 3-in-1 concept integrates three concepts of GQWEST into one package. Aquabest, Laundrybest, and Oxyplus comprise the 3-in-1 Combostore concept.

Laundrybest is the company’s laundromat franchise, while Oxyplus is their oxygenated alkaline water brand. Individually, the brands are all very successful and widely known; together they form a revolutionary and holistic way of looking at the water franchise industry.
