Banks all around the Philippines will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, but their ATM units and Internet banking channels will be available to continuously serve the banking needs of their clients. Check out the list below for the schedule of some the biggest banks in the country during the Holiday season.*
Bank of the Philippine Islands
BPI released a detailed list of all BPI and BPI Family Savings branches that will have extended banking hours from Dec. 8, 2017 to Jan. 3, 2018. There will also be branches open on Saturdays (Dec. 9, 16 and 23) to accommodate the banking needs of their clients. See this list.
BDO Unibank, Inc.
The country’s biggest bank by assets will have shortened hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, but will have regular banking hours from Dec. 26 to 29 and Jan. 2. For the complete schedule, visit their website.
Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co.
Selected branches will be open during the holidays, but their contact center will be available except for Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Go here to see the complete schedule.
Philippine National Bank
Four PNB branches all located in NAIA will be open on Christmas day from 6 a.m. to 12 noon. Selected branches will also be available to accommodate clients on Dec. 23 and Dec. 24. Check this list for complete details.
Security Bank Corp.
All Security Bank branches will be closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, but all ATM and Internet banking will be available all throughout the holiday season. For the full list, refer to this.
Union Bank of the Philippines
On Dec. 23, Saturday, only three branches will be open. These are Alabang Town Center, Alabang Country Club and Cebu Insular Life. All branches will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, 30, 31, 2017 and Jan. 1, 2018.
United Coconut Planters Bank
All UCPB branches will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and will resume regular banking schedule on Dec. 26 to 29, 2017 and Jan. 2, 2018.
