The Beep card used in all elevated railways (Metro Rail Transit System and Light Rail Transit System 1 and 2) will soon be accepted in selected buses in Metro Manila.

 

The AF Payments Inc. announced on April 29 the partnership among Froehlich Tours, HM Transport, and Citylink Coach Service. Froelich has serviced routes from Trinoma, Quezon City to Glorietta 5, Makati City, and SM City North EDSA to SM Megamall; Airport Loop for HM Transport; and Eastwood City, Uptown Bonifacio, San Lorenzo Place, McKinley Hill, and Newport City for Citylink Coach Services.

 

The agreement marks the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation. and Ayala Corporation-led consortium’s first venture in commuter buses.

 

 

Bloomberg selected as local bond provider

Bloomberg Philippine Local Sovereign Index (BPHILR Index) has been selected as the “benchmark indices for the domestic bond market,” the Fund Managers Association of Philippines (“FMAP”) announced on April 29.

 

The new index will feature government bonds with a minimum outstanding issuance of P3 billion ($63.78 million).

 

 

Aboitiz Group donated 246 classrooms in last 6 years

 The Aboitiz Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Aboitiz Group has donated 30 more AGAPP (Aklat, Gabay, Aruga Tungo sa Pag-angat at Pag-asaSilid Pangarap kindergarten classrooms to the Department of Education (DepEd), Foundation, a total of 246 in the last six years.

 

The Silid Pangarap classrooms will benefit 1,800 kindergarten pupils in 15 regions nationwide.
