Savoy Hotel Manila has 11 floors and 684 rooms. It opens to the public on June 28, 2018

Megaworld Corp. is opening its latest hotel in Newport City in Pasay City this month. Savoy Hotel Manila is the fifth hotel in the sprawling 25-hectare property just across from Terminal 3 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

The 684-room hotel is part of the three Savoy-branded properties that Megaworld announced it is building in Manila, Cebu and Boracay. The Andrew Tan-led property development company said it is spending Php5 billion for the three hotels.

Savoy Hotel Boracay opened in 2017 but is currently closed following the government’s shutdown of Boracay Island last April.

The company is also targeting to open a Savoy Hotel in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu later this year.

Savoy Hotel is a homegrown hotel brand targeting millennial business and leisure travelers. The Manila property is scheduled to formally open on June 28, 2018.

The four existing hotels in Newport City include Marriott Hotel Manila, Maxims Hotel, Remington Hotel (soon to be rebranded as Holiday Inn Express) and Belmont Hotel.

Two other international hotel chains are under construction and are expected to open within Newport City soon: Hilton Hotel Manila and Sheraton Hotel Manila.

Entrepreneur Philippines was one of only two media outlets given an exclusive first look into Savoy Hotel Manila before it opens its doors to guests.
