For its continuous advocacy to further professionalize the local wedding industry, Themes & Motifs Special Events Co. presents the Philippine Wedding Summit to be held at the SMX Mall of Asia on June 28-29, 2014. It will come with free career enhancement seminars to support wedding suppliers and entrepreneurs.
Now on its ninth year, the grandest midyear wedding fair will offer a series of seminars as a way of giving back to the local wedding industry, which have been supporting this annual event to make it the biggest and most prestigious in the country. Wedding suppliers are highly encouraged to attend this landmark event that aims in furthering professionalism among the players in the local wedding industry.
The official opening ceremony of the wedding fair will start at 10:00 a.m. Wedding industry mentor Henry Pascual will start the series of talk at 1:00 p.m. and will demonstrate basic techniques in event styling and its application in the upcoming trends in the industry.
Cosmetic giant Mary Kay will teach the basic concepts of corporate and personal imaging for wedding suppliers from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Skin care demos will be conducted and product samples will be distributed for free.
On June 29 (Sunday), one of the Philippines’ foremost wedding and events planner Rita Neri will discuss and illustrate how wedding companies can build its brand in this day of the Internet and social network from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
One of the country’s most sought-after motivational speaker, Chinkee Tan, will share valuable lessons on how to create, save, and budget money. From 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the former TV and movie personality will speak about gaining financial independence and having business plans for wedding professionals.
To help ensure attendance of registrants and give opportunity to truly interested and serious participants, there will be a refundable P300-bond per seminar that needs to be deposited to the Themes & Motifs bank account.
