Soon-to-Open Japanese Luxury Hotel Welcome New Sales and Marketing Director

Hotel Okura will open later this year.

Hotel Okura Manila announces the appointment of Ms. Addie S. Capinding as Director of Sales and Marketing effective July 15, 2019. The Japanese luxury hotel, situated within Resorts World Manila, is slated to open its doors to the public within Q4 of this year in Manila, Philippines.

Ms. Capinding brings with her twenty years of sales and client management experience in the hotel industry.  She previously served as Director of Sales at Discovery Primea and had diverse work experience in the realm of sales and accounts management as she rose the ranks in her twelve years at the Peninsula Manila.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science from Miriam College.

Regarding her appointment, Ms. Capinding said, “I am delighted to be joining the team of Hotel Okura Manila. I've been hearing great things and am very excited to collaborate and work with each and every one in the team. Hotel Okura’s signature fine-dining restaurant, Yamazato is set to launch in October. It is highly regarded worldwide for its authentic Japanese cuisine tailored for discerning palates.

In 2002, at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam, Yamazato was the first Japanese restaurant in Europe to earn the much-coveted Michelin star.
