White Space Club organizes discussion night

White Space Club organizes discussion night

Entrepreneur Philippines was invited to the one of the regular sessions of the White Space Club held on September 11, 2014 (Thursday) at the BSA Twin Towers Condotel in Ortigas, Pasig City. One of the clubs’s founding members, Kit Rodriguez, emceed the event that lasted from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Summit Media Group Publisher Ichi Apostol Acosta was invited as the guest speaker for the month’s Big Idea Discussion entitled ’Media Now and Beyond.’ She talked about the present situation of the media as it enters the online and digital age. She also keenly discussed its current landscape, concentrating on the recent trends the industry follows and how readers and practitioners can spot those.

One particular question that was raised during the event was how entrepreneurs can utilize the new media portals that audiences own today like PCs and smartphones. The guests then participated in a group table discussion wherein they provided their own thoughts and solutions about the month’s subject matter.

Save for the night of activity, more than 30 business and marketing professionals who attended were also treated to a buffet meal and free coffee.

Founded by the prominent entrepreneur and marketing guru Josiah Go, the White Space Club is a networking organization for individuals who are involved in discussing the current business and marketing issues in the country.

The club invites leaders from all industries to attend its regular events and build networks as well as discuss current issues with the old and new members.
