These Rare Movie Posters May Fetch a Small Fortune at an Upcoming Auction

A look into Prop Store's November 2018 auction in London.

Prop Store, a London-based movie memorabilia company, recently announced its second movie poster live auction, which will be livestreamed from its UK headquarters in November. The auction will include over 450 highly coveted movie posters from roughly 320 films, including posters for the Star Wars original trilogy and the early James Bond films. All in all, they're expected to fetch more than $330,000 (about PHP17.7 million).

 

 

 

 

Among the big-ticket items set to go under the hammer are an original artwork for John Carpenter’s The Thing, which is estimated to go for up to $10,500; and bunch of a Star Wars posters that could each fetch over $3,000. There are also posters and artworks for more recent movies, like 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy and 2017's The Greatest Showman.
