Between them, book publisher Dante E. Llarena and his wife have been regular patrons of YSA Skin Care Clinic. So the moment YSA Skin Care Corp. finally decided to open the business to franchising, Llarena said he did not hesitate at all to grab the opportunity to become a franchisee.
He invested P4.7 million for the whole franchise package and had the ground floor of the building he owns at the entrance gate of Mira Nila Homes remodeled so it could accommodate up to 20 customers per day. On May 30, 2009, Llarena officially opened to the public his franchised YSA Skin Care Clinic branch in Mira Nila Homes Pasong Tamo, Quezon City.
“We’ve been waiting for this opportunity because we also want our friends to experience the kind of treatment that we are getting from YSA,” Llarena said.
PART OF THE MONTHLY BUDGET
Going to YSA Clinics has been in the budget of Llarena’s family for years now. Dante, for instance, had his Botox and eye-bag removal there. He also maintains a twice-a-month YSA routine for his regular facial treatment, diamond peel and IPL.
Now, Llarena not only owns an YSA outlet but also knows how to administer some basic facial treatments on his own such as acne surgery and warts removal, thanks to the training the clinic gives its franchise holders. Of course, a doctor oversees the operation of each YSA branch round-the-clock, but knowing how to do some procedures themselves helps, too.
The clinic offers several treatment including facial at P670 per session, scar removal at P45,000 for six sessions, IPL at P55,000 for 10 sessions, Fractionated at P10,000 per session and Botox, P15,000 per treatment. It is open daily from 9 am to 8 pm.
