Another netizen is currently trending for his successful ipon challenge.
In a Facebook post, Jesse Palerit shared a series of photos and videos featuring his incredible feat of saving P84, 515 in just a span of 11 months.
The technique he used is he saved every Php100 bill, Php10 bill, and Php5 coin that he got. He started in May 23 of last year, and was supposed to open his piggy banks on the same date this year. But he had to open it earlier than the deadline because, according to him, "Masikip na kasi ang kahon."
In an interview with FHM.com.ph, Palerit expounded on the idea of savingÂP100 bills:
"Yung P100 kasi ang nakikita kong maraming bills at madaling ipunin,â he said.
The 37-year-old from Quezon City currently works full time as a head of security. He also has other sources of income such as online ticketing and loading businesses.
When we asked for some saving tips, he said that itâs all about having discipline.
"Wala namang pinipiling edad ang pag-iipon," he shared.
He also explained that it was his first time to do a money-saving challenge. And now that he's succeeded, his next goal is to break his record.
He plans to invest the money in his online ticketing and loading businesses. He also plans to pursue a money-lending project. He assured us that the rest will be deposited in a bank for future use.
